My wife and I hiked the tre cime di lavaredo loop nearby. We looked at restaurants near lake misurina, Malga Popena was a short drive which was well worth it. The inside is airy w/ a lot of blond wood and alpine decor. The food was amazing. We had a cheese course as an appetizer then their pasta. Pictured is the view out of the window.

Really nice restaurant by the road with LOCAL dishes which are great! Staff is very quick and friendly, they speak English, German and, naturally, Italian which is very important because the menu is in Italian only. PS They put a lemon in my beer!

Hidden gem for sure! If your way passes through this restaurant, it’s a must to stop by! Amazing food, ambience and friendly staff! Very fast and delicious!

We stayed here for the night in our camper van with our dogs, it was so lovely & friendly! It’s free parking for the evening. We missed evening meals unfortunately but we had breakfast here & bought some fresh eggs. The staff were lovely, really welcoming, nice to talk to & it’s a beautiful location. Will definitely come back.

A great stop on the way to Tre Cime. Original local food is the highlight along with friendly service and nice outside seating. Huge parking as a bonus if you drive by with a camper like us.

This place is open for breakfast! We came here after a morning hike and had some eggs and pastries. The lady serving us was very friendly. She also spoke English and German and had menus in both. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with plenty of tables. The whole restaurant and bathroom is wheelchair accessible! Plenty of parking, and it is free. Great spot for breakfast or lunch with a view!

Unexpectedly good. Very good pasta and lasagna. Reasonable price. Would recommend to stop here for lunch rather than eating around the lake.

I ll give it 5 stars because it looks nice. We didnt stay as there was a lot of people arriving at the same time and the waitress seemed to be alone. But I would recommend.
